The key purpose of this drug is to stimulate the growth of bones and muscles and to treat children and
adults who have growth deficiency due to lack of production of the natural occurring HGH (somatropin). Other individuals who can be administered on this drug include those with turner syndrome, weight loss, AIDs, Noonan syndrome, short bowel syndrome and chronic kidney failure.
This drug might pose some side effects after administration. It is important to discuss your medical conditions with the doctor before injection. The common side effects likely to be experienced are headache, pain and swelling at the site of injection, tiredness and weakness, muscle pain, joint pain, loss of fatty tissue, carpal tunnel syndrome and swelling of hands, lower legs and feet. Although this side effects happen, if your condition worsen it is advisable to seek medical assistance. This medication should not be administrated to children with: active brain tumor, have had kidney transplant, active cancer, respiratory failure, have had serious accident, after trauma, hypersensitivity to somatropin, acute critical illness, severely obese, active plorification, trauma, hypertension, scoliosis, pituitary gland disorder, liver diseases, under reactive thyroid and prada-Willi syndrome.
You should adhere to the prescription of the doctor and do not alter any information/prescription without the knowledge of the doctor. Inject in the muscles or thigh and do not inject the drug twice the same place that you had injected. When injecting, be careful not to inject into the muscle or skin that is injured, sore, infected or red. When mixing this drug, mix it while you swirl gently and do not shake the bottle.
